There is nothing else better known and more mysterious than our own body. We are born, get used to, and die with it, but the body changes so much that it can become unrecognisable in a few years. The idea of the series “Corpore Sano” (or Gone down the tube) is, with a light-humoured language, to show the inevitable relationship – for good and for evil – that the human kind has with their body, which can be compared to a extremely complex machine. The series will use the automobile – its functioning, its maintenance, its mechanical problems, its power (when brand new), and its decay (when the engine is about to overheat) – as a powerful metaphor for the human body..
